Applying to the Murrieta Fire Cadet Program:

In order to become a cadet you must fill out an application, the application can be filled out on the bottom of this page.

We do have minimum requirements in order to apply to try out for our program which include:

◘ Between the ages of fourteen and twenty years old

◘ Must have completed the eighth grade

◘ Must have a 2.0 GPA or higher

Timeline of Application Process:

Application Open: 1/1/25

Application Closed: 2/28/25

Phone and Email Notification: Week of 3/1/25

PT Test :4/5/25  (Invite Only)

Interview: 4/6/25 ( Invite Only)

Orientation/ Uniform Fit Meeting: 5/10/25 (Invite Only)

Introduction to Fire Cadet Academy: 6/28/25 (Invite Only)

Cadet Academy: July 21 - 26, 2025 (Invite Only)
